Maxio acquires RevOps

Hooray! 🥳 We’re excited and humbled to announce that Maxio has acquired RevOps.

In 2019, we set out on a mission to bring Deal Desk and CPQ to any business that needed it—without forcing them to make sacrifices in their business models—while also making access economical for startups and small to medium-sized businesses. 

We envisioned a future with consumption-based pricing models, flexible term management, and a wealth of capabilities that would empower sales while adding guardrails to the quoting and agreement processes. The result is what we know today as the RevOps Deal Desk platform.

With today’s announcement, we have the opportunity to reflect on what we’ve built together with our wonderful customers, partners, and both past and present team members.

As founders and entrepreneurs, John Solis and I have spent decades neck-deep in monetization stacks for businesses. Our solution embodies the empathy we have for the everyday salesperson who wants to get in and out without needing a degree in finance. Because of this focus, in our first few years, we enabled billions in contract value to be closed through our platform. By 2021, we were compelled to think about how to grow our partnerships. We evaluated every known billing platform we could find.

When I met Randy (CEO of Maxio) at SaaStr in 2022, it sparked the beginning of a multi-year partnership. Our platforms already had strong data connectivity through mutual CRM partners, but we also shared cultural values in sales, customer success, and the technical depth of B2B billing automation and financial systems.

Today, one in four of our customers is also a Maxio customer—the highest ratio among our customer billing cohort.
